45 Conduct of tow truck drivers at road accident scene
(1)
The driver of a tow truck that moves an accident damaged motor vehicle from or within a road accident scene must ensure as far as practicable that before the tow truck leaves the road accident scene, all debris and glass attributable to the road accident is removed.
- 10 penalty units.
(2)
The driver of a tow truck that moves an accident damaged motor vehicle from or within a road accident scene must take reasonable steps to ensure that if there is a hazard attributable to the road accident, the appropriate authorities are notified of the existence of the hazard as soon as possible.
