Obstruction of authorised officer

In force

A person must not—

(a)

prevent an authorised officer from performing a function under this Division; or

(b)

hinder or obstruct an authorised officer in the performance of that function; or

(c)

without reasonable excuse, refuse or fail to comply with a requirement made by or to answer a question asked by an authorised officer under this Division.

Penalty: In the case of an individual, 60 penalty units;

In the case of a body corporate, 300 penalty units.

Note

Section 50 applies to an offence against this section.
