55G Safe Transport Victoria may request information
S. 55G(1) amended by No. 34/2023 s. 127(Sch. 1 item 1.45).
Safe Transport Victoria may, within a period of time specified by Safe Transport Victoria, request an accredited bus operator to give Safe Transport Victoria information relating to the safety of the bus service operated by the accredited bus operator.
Example
Information relating to the safety of a bus service may include details relating to any incidents that may have occurred, any hazards that may have been identified or the type of risk management activities undertaken by an accredited bus operator.

An accredited bus operator must comply with a request made by Safe Transport Victoria under subsection (1).
Penalty: 1200 penalty units.
