62 What are regionally controlled weeds?
The Minister may recommend a plant for declaration as a regionally controlled weed in a specified region if satisfied that—
(a)
it occurs in the region; and
(b)
it is capable of spreading further in the region and should be stopped from doing so; and
(c)
to prevent its spread, continuing control measures are required.
