147 Secretary may grant approval
(1)
On the application of a cemetery trust for approval to dispose of bodily remains in a public cemetery for which it is responsible, the Secretary may approve the disposal by a method other than interment or cremation.
(2)
An approval under this section—
(a)
is subject to any terms and conditions specified in the approval which the Secretary thinks fit; and
(b)
may apply—
(i)
generally; or
(ii)
to a specific class of disposals; or
(iii)
to a specific disposal.
(3)
An approval under this section must be in writing.
