174 Who may prosecute?

(1)
Proceedings for an offence against this Act or the regulations may be taken by the Director of Public Prosecutions, an authorised officer or a police officer.
(2)
Proceedings started under subsection (1) may be taken over and continued at any time by any other person authorised by subsection (1) to take proceedings.
(3)
All courts must take judicial notice of the fact that any person purporting to be authorised by subsection (1) is authorised to take proceedings.
