Memoranda of understanding with municipal councils

In force

(1)

The Minister, on behalf of the State, must enter into a memorandum of understanding with each municipal council whose municipal district includes any land that is in the levy area.

(2)

A memorandum of understanding under subsection (1) must relate to an annual allocation to the municipal council for the purpose of funding active transport or other transport initiatives.
