5 Effect and publication of order
(1)
An order takes effect when notice of it is published in the Government Gazette or on such later date as is specified in the order.
Note
The making of an order is subject to disallowance by the Parliament (see section 9).
(2)
An order that specifies a date on which it expires ceases to have effect on that date.
(3)
As soon as practicable after making an order, the Minister must ensure that notice of the making of the order is published in—
(a)
the Government Gazette; and
(b)
a newspaper circulating generally throughout the State.
