5 Application of Act during determination period
This Act (except Part 1, Divisions 2, 3, 4 and 5 of Part 2 and sections 179, 180, 181, 184 and 187) does not apply during the determination period to or in respect of the conveyancing business of a person who—
has applied under Part 2 of this Act for a full licence before the end of the application period; and
immediately before the commencement day carried on business as a conveyancer.
Despite its repeal, Part 7.1 of the Legal Profession Act 2004 continues to apply during the determination period to a person who has made an application in accordance with subclause (1).
