33 Registered medical practitioner to assist

(1)

This section applies to a death that is being investigated by a coroner.

(2)

A registered medical practitioner—

(a)

who was responsible for a person's medical care immediately before that person's death; or

(b)

who was present at or after the person's death—

must give the coroner any information or assistance that the coroner requests for the purposes of the investigation.
