Objective
1 Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to provide for the following—
the procedure of the Authority;
the procedure for appeals by officers and employees to the Commission;
the management and administration of fire brigades;
the issue of permits to burn and other fire prevention measures;
the financial arrangements of, and fees and charges levied by, the Authority;
personal injury compensation for volunteer members of brigades, members of forestry industry brigades, casual fire-fighters and volunteer auxiliary workers;
compensation for destruction, damage or loss of property of volunteer members of brigades, members of forestry industry brigades, casual fire-fighters and volunteer auxiliary workers;
the management and administration of forestry industry brigades;
alarm monitoring information requirements;
prescribing places as community fire refuges;
other matters authorised by the Act.
