124ZO Exception—insignia publicly displayed in connection with Part 5B organisation
A person does not contravene section 124ZN if the public display of the mark was engaged in reasonably and in good faith—
for a genuine academic or educational purpose; or
in the performance, exhibition or distribution of a work of art; or
in making or publishing a fair and accurate report of any event or matter; or
by a member or officer of—
an Australian law enforcement agency; or
an integrity body; or
an intelligence agency—
in the performance of the member or officer's duties; or
for the purposes of the administration of justice; or
in opposition to the criminal activity of the organisation of which the mark is an insignia.
