58H Powers of Minister
S. 58H inserted by No. 87/2000 s. 26.
The Minister may—
refuse to register or to renew the registration of a premises; or
refuse to transfer registration to a new premises; or
suspend the registration of a premises; or
revoke the registration of a premises.
The Minister may act under subsection (1) if he or she is satisfied that the Council—

has failed to comply with the Act, the regulations, any business code of practice applying to the business, or the terms, conditions, limitations or restrictions on registration; or
has been found guilty of an offence under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1986.
