68KG Cancellation on notice by organisation
S. 68KG inserted by No. 42/2025 s. 7.
A pet rehoming organisation may cancel its pet rehoming organisation authorisation by giving notice to the Secretary.
A notice under subsection (1) must—
specify the date on which the cancellation is to take effect, which must not be less than 28 days after the day the notice is given; and
be in the form and manner approved by the Secretary; and
contain the prescribed information.
A cancellation under subsection (1) takes effect on the date specified under subsection (2)(a).
