2.6.57 Provision of information by teachers

If a registered teacher has in respect of a category A offence, a category B offence or an offence specified in paragraph (a) or (c) of the definition of category C conduct—
been committed for trial; or
been convicted or found guilty of the offence—
the person must notify the Institute within 30 days after that commitment, conviction or finding of guilt.

An applicant for registration, renewal or reinstatement of registration as a teacher must ensure that details of any of the matters referred to in this section are set out in the application.
