2A.1.8 Medical examination

(1)
For the purpose of ascertaining the fitness of an employee—
(a)
to perform the employee's duties; or
(b)
to participate in any procedures under this Act relating to the employee—
the Secretary may direct the employee to submit to a medical examination by a qualified medical practitioner nominated by the Secretary.
(2)
An employee must comply with a direction made under subsection (1).
