Education and Training Reform Act 2006

A post-secondary student of a TAFE provider may be placed with an employer for work experience or training if the governing body of the TAFE provider has entered into an agreement in writing with the employer about the placement of that student.

A practical placement agreement—

may be varied or amended by another agreement; and

must be consistent with any determination of the Minister about placements of that kind; and

may be cancelled at any time by notice in writing—

given by the employer to the governing body; or

given by the governing body to the employer.
