5.8.3R Refusal or failure to comply with requirement

A person must not, without reasonable excuse, refuse or fail to comply with a requirement of an authorised officer under this Subdivision.
Penalty: 60 penalty units in the case of a natural person and 300 penalty units in the case of a body corporate.
Despite subsection (1), it is not an offence for a person to fail to comply with a requirement of an authorised officer under this Subdivision if the authorised officer did not comply with section 5.8.3E(1) or either section 5.8.3F(2) or 5.8.3G(2) (as the case requires) before requiring the person to comply with the requirement.
