6.2.3 Secretary to prepare allocation statement

The Secretary must prepare a statement of the property, rights and liabilities of the State that are to be assigned from the State to the Academy.
A proposed allocation statement under this section must be provided to the Minister for agreement.
The Minister may agree to the proposed allocation statement if the Minister is satisfied that the property, rights and liabilities to be assigned relate to—
the provision and development of professional learning for teachers and school leaders; or
the conduct of research relating to professional learning for teachers and school leaders.
If the Minister agrees to the proposed statement—
the Minister must sign the statement; and
the statement is an allocation statement for the purposes of this Part.
