75 Term of operating licences
S. 75 inserted by No. 39/2018 s. 7 (as amended by Nos 27/2019 ss 12−30, 3/2020 ss 42–44, 47/2020 s. 26).
Subject to subsection (2), if the Authority issues an operating licence after the commencement of this Chapter, the Authority must specify on the licence the period during which the licence remains in force.
An operating licence may not remain in force—
in the case of an operating licence that specifies a waste management activity that is engaged in at a current or former landfill site, for a period of more than 99 years; or
in any other case, for a period of more than 20 years.
