(1)
This section applies if an interstate witness protection certificate for an interstate operative in relation to a proceeding is filed in a court.
(2)
The presiding officer in the proceeding may require the interstate operative—
(a)
to disclose his or her true identity to the presiding officer; and
(b)
to provide the presiding officer with photographic evidence of that identity.
