229A Explanations of orders
S. 229A inserted by No. 19/2017 s. 24.
This Act as amended by Division 2 of Part 2 of the amending Act applies to a proceeding for a family violence intervention order that—
commences on or after the commencement of that Division; or
had been commenced but not determined before the commencement of that Division.
Section 123 as in force immediately before the commencement of Division 2 of Part 2 of the amending Act continues to apply to a contravention of a family violence intervention order that was made before that commencement.
Section 123A as in force immediately before the commencement of Division 2 of Part 2 of the amending Act continues to apply to a contravention of a family violence intervention order that was made before that commencement.
