Family Violence Protection Act 2008

Section 53 as amended by section 16 of the amending Act applies to the making of an interim order on or after the commencement of section 16 irrespective of—

when the application for the family violence intervention order was made; and

whether the family violence alleged in the application occurred before, on or after the commencement of section 16.

Section 74 as amended by section 17 of the amending Act applies to the making of a final order on or after the commencement of section 17 irrespective of—

when the proceeding commenced; and

whether the family violence constituting grounds for making the order occurred before, on or after the commencement of section 17.
