34 Service of family violence safety notice
As soon as practicable after a family violence safety notice is issued, a police officer must—
serve a copy of the family violence safety notice on the respondent and the protected person; and
if the family violence safety notice is a safety notice form that has been subsequently corrected under section 28, serve a copy of the corrected safety notice form on the respondent and the protected person; and
file with the Magistrates' Court—
if the family violence safety notice was issued on an application made under section 25(a), a copy of the form completed under section 27(1); or
if the family violence safety notice was issued on an application made under section 25(b), a copy of the safety notice form certified under section 28(2)(c).
