39 Commercial activity
A person must not conduct any commercial activity in a forest reserve or forest park without a permit or tour operator licence.
Penalty: 20 penalty units.
For the purposes of subregulation (1), the managing body may issue a permit to a person to conduct a commercial activity in a forest reserve or forest park.
In this regulation—
commercial activity means any activity conducted for profit including the following—
an event or function;
offering for sale or hire any thing or service;
filming or taking photographs;
delivering any address or using any amplifier, public address system, loud hailer or similar device;
distributing or displaying any handbills, pamphlets, books, paper or advertising matter or putting up or leaving any placards or notices;
event or function includes the following—
a show or other similar entertainment;
a festival, rave party, fete or public meeting;
a demonstration, training class or similar event;
a rally, fishing competition or other competitive event;
a wedding or other ceremony.
