Permits

In force

(1)

A permit issued under these Regulations authorises the holder of the permit to enter or use an area of State forest specified in the permit—

(a)

for the purpose specified in the permit; and

(b)

for the period specified in the permit; and

(c)

subject to any terms and conditions that are specified in the permit.

(1A)

A permit issued under these Regulations may be issued for a period not exceeding 3 years from the day it is issued.

(2)

A permit holder must—

(a)

carry the permit on their person when conducting activities specified in the permit; and

(b)

if requested by an authorised officer, produce the permit for inspection by an authorised officer.

Penalty: 10 penalty units.

(2A)

A permit holder must comply with any terms and conditions specified in the permit.

Penalty: 10 penalty units.

(3)

A permit issued under these Regulations must be in writing.
