6 Prescribed civil penalty amounts—tier 1 civil penalty requirements
For the purposes of section 54E(c), (d), (g) and (i) of the Essential Services Commission Act 2001, the prescribed amount for a contravention of a tier 1 civil penalty requirement is an amount not exceeding 60 000 penalty units.
Notes
1 The civil penalty amount for a contravention of a civil penalty requirement that is not a tier 1 civil penalty requirement or a tier 2 civil penalty requirement is the amount specified in the Act or in the Essential Services Commission Act 2001.
2 For persons other than licensees, the civil penalty amount for a contravention of a civil penalty requirement is the amount specified in the Act or in the Essential Services Commission Act 2001.
