33 Gas quality

A gas company must ensure that, as far as practicable, the gas which it conveys—
meets the prescribed standards of quality; and
complies with any other prescribed requirements.
- In the case of a natural person, 1800 penalty units;
In the case of a body corporate, 9000 penalty units.

A gas company which supplies or sells gas to a customer for use in a gas installation must ensure that, as far as practicable, the gas supplied or sold—
meets the prescribed standards of quality; and
complies with any other prescribed requirements.
- In the case of a natural person, 1800 penalty units;
In the case of a body corporate, 9000 penalty units.
