Duty of operator of complex gas installation

Current

The operator of a complex gas installation to which an accepted safety case applies must manage and operate that gas installation to minimise as far as practicable—

(a)

the hazards and risks to the safety of the public arising from the use of the gas installation; and

(b)

the hazards and risks to property arising from the use of the gas installation.

In the case of a natural person, 1200 penalty units;

In the case of a body corporate, 6000 penalty units.
