65 Approval of persons to carry out upstream gas work

Any person may apply to Energy Safe Victoria for approval to carry out upstream gas work in relation to a particular facility or class of facility.
An application under subsection (1) must—
be in writing; and
contain the prescribed information; and
be accompanied by the relevant prescribed fee.

Energy Safe Victoria may grant an approval under this section to a person to undertake upstream gas work or a particular class of upstream gas work in relation to a particular facility or class of facility if Energy Safe Victoria is satisfied that the applicant has the appropriate qualifications and experience to undertake that work.
An approval under this section is granted subject to—
any terms, conditions or limitations specified in the approval; and
any terms, conditions or limitations which are prescribed.

Energy Safe Victoria may at any time suspend or cancel an approval given under this section.
