Restriction on operation of Act

s. 4

This Act—

(a)

does not apply to the naming of—

S. 4(a)(i) amended by Nos 24/1999 s. 47, 2/2003 s. 51.

(i)

an electoral region or district; or

(ii)

a municipal district or a ward of a municipal district; and

(b)

does not affect the powers and authorities conferred by or under any other Act on the Governor in Council or on any person to assign or amend the name of a place.
