149 Unlawful consent to special medical procedure an offence
A person must not purport to give consent on behalf of a patient to the continuation of a special medical procedure or a further special medical procedure unless—
(a)
the person knows that the person is authorised under section 146 to give such consent; or
(b)
the person believes on reasonable grounds that the person is authorised under section 146 to give such consent.
