115 Vacancy and resignation
The Commissioner ceases to hold office if the Commissioner—
resigns by writing delivered to the Minister; or
becomes insolvent under administration; or
is convicted of an indictable offence or of an offence that, if committed in Victoria, would be an indictable offence; or
nominates for election for or is elected to—
the Parliament of Victoria; or
the Parliament of the Commonwealth or of another State or a Territory of the Commonwealth; or

a Council, within the meaning of the Local Government Act 2020; or
is removed from office under section 116.
