Referral of complaint if another Act applies

In force

(1)

This section applies if the subject matter of a complaint or a part of a complaint made to the Commissioner would also be a reason for making a complaint or conducting an investigation or inquiry under a relevant law.

(2)

As soon as practicable after the complaint is made, the Commissioner must refer the complaint or the part of the complaint to the person or body responsible for dealing with the matter under the relevant law.
