65U Terms and conditions

A director of a board of a public health service holds office for the term, not exceeding 3 years, specified in the instrument of appointment and is eligible for re-appointment.

A director of a board of a public health service must not serve more than 9 consecutive years as director of that board unless the Minister is satisfied that exceptional circumstances exist that justify a further re‑appointment of the director.
A director of a board is entitled to be paid—
reasonable expenses incurred in holding office as a director of the board; and
such remuneration as is specified in the instrument of appointment.
