82 Declaration as to Crown ownership of registered shipwrecks or registered shipwreck artefacts
(1)
The Minister, by notice published in the Government Gazette, may declare a registered shipwreck or registered shipwreck artefact to be vested in the Crown if the Minister is of the opinion that the declaration is necessary to protect the public interest.
(2)
On the publication of a notice under subsection (1), the ownership of the registered shipwreck or registered shipwreck artefact vests in the Crown free of any other interest.
