Current

If, immediately before the commencement day, a direction given under section 57(2) of the PIA in respect of a person who is held in a prison or police gaol was in force, on and after the commencement day—

(a)

section 57 of the PIA continues to apply in respect of that direction despite its repeal; and

(b)

that section applies as if any reference in that section to the Director were a reference to the IBAC.
