8 Applications, approvals, decisions or other actions of VGCCC
Subject to this Schedule, this clause applies if—
before the commencement day the VGCCC commenced to do something required or permitted to be done under this Act; and
the VGCCC has not completed that thing before the commencement day.
On and after the commencement day, the Commission may continue to do and complete that thing under this Act as amended by the amending Act.
Anything done by the VGCCC before the commencement day in respect of that thing is, on and after that day, taken to have been done by the Commission.
On the commencement day, the Commission is, by force of this subclause, substituted as a party to any proceeding pending in any court or tribunal under this Act to which the VGCCC was a party immediately before that day.
