52 Penalties to be paid for offences under infringement notices
The penalty for an offence for which an infringement notice has been issued is the penalty prescribed by the regulations, which must not exceed—
in the case of an offence against this Act, or against the regulations, being an offence prescribed for the purposes of this Division, 7 penalty units for an individual; or
S. 52(b) amended by No. 1/2024 s. 98(1).
in the case of an offence against section 50A, 12 penalty units for an individual or 60 penalty units for a body corporate; or
S. 52(c) amended by No. 1/2024 s. 98(2).
in the case of an offence against section 50B, 6 penalty units.
