Local Jobs First Act 2003

Local Jobs First does not apply to a person or an agency in respect of a standard project or a strategic project if the procurement of goods or services for the project is—

carried out in accordance with any relevant emergency procurement plan that is in force; and

carried out for the purposes of the response to, or recovery from, an emergency; and

consistent with any relevant supply policy.

In this section—

for the procurement of goods and services in response to an emergency; and

prepared by an agency in accordance with a supply policy;
