4.02 Process for filing family violence safety notices
(1)
For the purposes of section 34(c) of the Act, a copy of the form or safety notice form (the original form) must be filed with the Court as soon as practicable.
(2)
The station of the police officer who made the application must retain the original form for 28 days after filing it with the Court.
Note
Rule 12.01(3) requires a family violence safety notice to be filed by facsimile transmission or other electronic communication if filed after business hours.
