89G Code of Practice
Subject to subsection (2), a person is not liable to any civil or criminal proceedings merely because the person has failed to observe any provision of a Code of Practice.

Subjection (1) does not apply to—
the holder of an extractive industry work authority that is subject to a condition of compliance with a Code of Practice under section 77J(2); or
the holder of a mining licence that is subject to a condition of compliance with a Code of Practice under section 26(2A); or
the holder of a prospecting licence that is subject to a condition of compliance with a Code of Practice under section 26(2A).
