95M Power to give directions

(1)
An inspector may give a direction (either orally or in writing) to a person at a worksite if the inspector reasonably believes that it is necessary to do so because of an immediate risk to public safety, the environment, land, property or infrastructure.
(2)
A person must not, without reasonable excuse, refuse or fail to comply with a direction given to the person under subsection (1).
- In the case of a corporation, 500 penalty units;
In any other case 100 penalty units.
