Documents, accounts and records to be kept

In force

The following documents, accounts and records are to be kept by licensed motor car traders—

(a)

agreements for sale of a used motor car under section 41 of the Act;

(b)

agreements for sale of a new motor car under section 42 of the Act;

(c)

agreements for exchange of a motor car;

(d)

extended warranty documents;

(e)

police checks given to the motor car trader by persons employed in a customer service capacity;

(f)

any completed forms in the form of Form 2, 3, 4 or 5 as set out in Schedule 1.
