Retention of documents

(1)

An information services officer may retain a document produced to him or her for the period necessary for the purpose of performing functions and exercising powers as an information services officer.

(2)

During the period that the information services officer retains a document, he or she must permit the person otherwise entitled to its possession to inspect it and make copies of or take extracts from it.
