65 Regulations
The Governor in Council may make regulations for or with respect to—
requiring employers to keep records in relation to the contracting out of work in the clothing industry and the engagement of outworkers;

requiring employers to provide records referred to in paragraph (a) or copies of them to specified persons or bodies;
S. 65(1)(ac) inserted by No. 9/2005 s. 9(1).
requiring a person to enter a written agreement with an outworker before engaging the outworker and prescribing matters to be included in that agreement;
S. 65(1)(ad) inserted by No. 9/2005 s. 9(1).
requiring employers to lodge agreements referred to in paragraph (ac) or copies of them with specified persons or bodies;
S. 65(1)(ae) inserted by No. 9/2005 s. 9(1).
requiring employers to give information to outworkers and prescribing the content and manner of giving that information;
S. 65(1)(af) inserted by No. 9/2005 s. 9(1).
requiring persons intending to engage outworkers to be registered with specified persons or bodies;
S. 65(1)(ag) inserted by No. 9/2005 s. 9(1).
providing mechanisms for the resolution of disputes between employers and outworkers;
prescribing any matter or thing required or permitted by this Act to be prescribed or necessary to be prescribed to give effect to this Act.
The regulations—
may be of general or limited application;
may differ according to differences in time, place or circumstances;

may impose a penalty, not exceeding 20 penalty units, for a contravention of the regulations;
S. 65(2)(d) inserted by No. 9/2005 s. 9(2)(b).
may confer a discretionary authority or impose a duty on a specified person or body or specified class of person or body.
