234 Registration
To register a document, the Minister must—
either—
enter details of the document in the petroleum register; or
lodge a copy of the document in the register; and
enter in the register the date the details were entered or the document was lodged; and
give the person who sought registration of the document a copy of the document endorsed with a notation that the document has been registered and details of the date and time entered in the register under paragraph (b).
The Minister may—
determine what details of a document are to be lodged in the register;
require that documents of a particular type be in a specified form before accepting them for registration;
require that documents of a particular type contain specified information before accepting them for registration.
