52 Duty of disclosure of pecuniary interest
(1)
For the purposes of section 243 of the Act, a person employed in the administration of the Act must disclose a pecuniary interest, in accordance with the procedures for declaring conflicts of interest approved by the Minister.
Note
Under section 243 of the Act, a person who contravenes this subregulation is liable to a penalty not exceeding 60 penalty units.
(2)
A person who is required to disclose an interest under subregulation (1) must not perform or exercise any function or power under the Act in relation to the matter to which the interest relates unless the Minister authorises the person to do so.
