46AZD Protected settlement boundary amendment
(1)
Sections 36, 37 and 38 do not apply to an amendment to a declared area planning scheme—
(a)
that is approved after a Statement of Planning Policy has been approved in relation to that area; and
(b)
that is or includes a protected settlement boundary amendment.
(2)
A protected settlement boundary amendment does not take effect unless ratified by Parliament in accordance with this Subdivision.

Subsection (2) does not apply to a protected settlement boundary amendment that is a correction made under section 46AZA(3).
