31 Codes of conduct prepared by Director or industry
A code of conduct approved by the Director under this Division may be—
a code of conduct prepared by the Director; or
a code of conduct prepared and submitted to the Director by an organisation representing engineers.
In preparing a code of conduct under subsection (1)(a), the Director—
(a) must consult with any prescribed organisation representing engineers; and
may consult with any other organisation.
The Director may make changes to a code of conduct submitted to the Director under subsection (1)(b).
Before making changes to a code of conduct under subsection (3), the Director—
must consult with the organisation that submitted the code of conduct; and
may consult with any other organisation.
